GSC Thailand orphanage volunteers work with orphans in Central Thailand to bring light and happiness into the lives of disadvantaged children. Most of these children have lost their parents, or are from impoverished families or disenfranchised minority groups. Besides spending time providing companionship and leading recreational activities for the children, GSC Thailand orphanage volunteers also assist staff in teaching English. In the Thai orphanages, you will not only be a teacher but also a mentor and friend. You will also have opportunity to assist with construction projects, work with the children in orphanage gardens, help organize arts and crafts activities for the children, and coach sports.

GSC offers Orphanage Care programs anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months or longer. All programs begin with a week long cultural orientation including a weekend tour of Bangkok followed by at least one week of service in the orphanage.
