Meredith
and Tan at GSC
Headquarters in San Francisco |
As part of her sophomore Public Service Summer Program,
Meredith chose to teach in the GSC Thailand Program. She
did so "without much thought - following in the footsteps
of previous Morehead scholars who had gone on the GSC
Thailand program."Little did she know, it would change

teacher.
Read
more about Meredith's adventures and how she raised
money to bring her fellow Thai teacher, Tan, to the
U.S. and create a Thai-US relationship with 24 schools.

Camps were a collaborative effort of GSC volunteers
participants, teachers, school administrators, community
members and peer educators...Read

| Our
new 2 week programs allow those with limited time or
vacations to learn and serve abroad while living with
local families.
As a guest
of a generous Thai or Tanzanian family,
you see the country as an insider - enjoying the tantalizing
tastes of new cuisine and the warmth of the people.
And you work on an education, health or environment
service project.
