Testimonials
"I'm sure when I ponder my life experiences, during the twilight of my years, I will regard my six weeks in Thailand as six of the most sensational weeks of my life... I traveled to Thailand hoping for an enriching experience. What I found exceeded my wildest expectations."

INTEGRATED SERVICE LEARNING PROGRAM IN THAILAND
GSC is now offering an Integrated Service-Learning Program in Thailand for those who want to participate in more than one volunteer project during their volunteer experience in Thailand.

All Integrated Service Learning Program participants receive the one-week orientation and training and then divide their remaining time between two or more volunteer projects. Popular integrated options include the combination of the International Health Program with the HIV/AIDS Education and Prevention Program, and the combination of the Buddhist Immersion Program with the Teach English Abroad Program.

Integrated programs require a minimum of six-weeks in total program duration and a commitment of at least two-weeks per project. Integrated Programs including the Orphanage Program require a total eight-week program commitment with five weeks minimum serving in an orphanage. Please contact the Thailand Program Coordinator at the GSC office who can help you choose the best integrated option.

***GSC is in the process of evaluating its HIV/AIDS Education and Prevention Program and International Health Program in order tp better serve the community and provide a mutually beneficial experience for volunteers. Therefore, the Integrated Service Learning Program which combines these two programs currently is not being offered in Thailand, but scheduled to resume in the Summer of 2009. Please check back with GSC early in 2009 for more details.  The Integrated Service Learning Program which combines the Buddhist Immersion Program with the Teach English Abroad Program is currently being offered.
