Global Service Corps
International Volunteer-Abroad Service Learning Programs
Global Service Corps (GSC), founded in 1993, offers international volunteer programs and service learning experiences in Cambodia. GSC volunteer programs are offered year round from two weeks to six months or longer. Volunteers enjoy a true cultural immersion experience by staying with a host family while working hand-in-hand with local partners. GSC programs are offered year round and include global public health, teach English abroad, Buddhist immersion, youth leadership and community development, and child and orphan care programs. All programs begin with in-depth training sessions, and no special skills or knowledge are required. Volunteers of all ages, including students, families, mid-career professionals and active retirees and boomers are encouraged to apply. GSC volunteers have an unforgettable experience, while providing sustainable, beneficial results to the communities they serve.
The History of GSC
In 1992 Global Service Corps began working with Global Routes, a program with ten years experience organizing international service programs for high school and college students. As the adult division of Global Routes, GSC started coordinating short-term projects in village-based sustainable development. Read More
